Join us for a fun and cozy hour of finger knitting at Wildlings Bookshop! We will be reading the book Extra Yarn, by Mac Barnett and illustrated by Jon Klassen, and then we'll knit!

For first time finger knitters we'll do some quick two-finger knitting lessons and get some hands on practice. Those with finger knitting experience can work on finger knitting their own garlands, necklaces, ropes, etc. with their color yarn of choice, included in cost of class (or bring extra of your own!).

Approximately 40 yards of super chunky 100% wool yarn from We Are Knitters are included!
We’ll be learning how to make two-finger knitted chains in this class, look for future classes with more mid-level techniques and projects!
If you have a color preference and want to request a specific color, leave a note during checkout! Otherwise I'll have some of each type during the event to choose from.
Color options: Lavender, Bright Pink, Red, Forest Green, Yarnicorn (multicolor pink), Pastel Marshmallow.

Parents please plan to stay on site for the duration of the class! We'll have some extra yarn in the store if you'd like to purchase extra to learn / practice alongside your child!
